Home	Dave Bass, DPT completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Virginia Tech, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Virginia - Virginia Commonwealth University. He has been with Tuckahoe Physical Therapy since 2001, specializing in shoulder, knee and elbow rehabilitation, with extensive continuing education on prevention and treatment of these injuries. A three-sport athlete in high school, Dave competed in soccer, wrestling and lacrosse, and later was a volunteer assistant wrestling coach for Blacksburg High School. His enthusiasm and knowledge of sports and weight lifting allow him to relate to the amateur or elite athlete and weekend warrior as well. An avid golfer, Dave has recently been certified by Back to Golf, a well-respected method of analyzing the biomechanics of the golf swing to achieve the most efficient golf swing for your body. Programs focus on maximizing power while minimizing the stress to the body that can lead to pain or injury.
